Dynamic Theater Productions:

The second season of The Bridge Project features a transatlantic company of actors in a double-bill of Shakespeare's As You Like It and The Tempest-directed by Sam Mendes, produced by BAM, The Old Vic, and Neal Street Productions, and presented by Bank of America
The renowned Maly Drama Theatre of St. Petersburg returns to BAM with Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, directed by Lev Dodin

Alan Rickman directs the acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of Strindberg's Creditors, in a new version by David Greig

Visceral dance engagements:

Mark Morris Dance Group returns to BAM with the world premiere of Socrates, the New York premiere of Looky, and the repertory work, Behemoth

DanceAfrica 2010-BAM's longest running performance series, now in its 33rd year-features Zambia's Pamodzi Dance Troupe, the BAM/Restoration DanceAfrica Ensemble, and additional companies

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at BAM features two programs-"Ailey Spirit" and "By Popular Demand"-in an extended return engagement

The inaugural BAM Opera Festival:
Conductor William Christie curates BAM's wide-ranging 16-day Opera Festival featuring Les Arts Florissants in world premiere productions of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and Charpentier's Actéon, and the U.S. premiere of Purcell's The Fairy Queen produced by Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Opéra Comique, Théâtre de Caen, and BAM. Diverse music engagements:

Sounds Like Brooklyn Music Festival-now in its fourth year-will feature pop music on BAM's mainstages and at BAMcafé, and two BAMfamily concerts by Dan Zanes and Friends

Falla and Flamenco features a unique program of compositions by Manuel De Falla, including El Corregidor y la Molinera-performed by Orchestra of St. Luke's and conducted by Angel Gil-Ordóñez, with choreography by Ramón Oller
