WET INK also features two workshop productions:

Beowulf, translated and adapted by Colin D. Young and directed by Tania Inessa Kirkman
In this new translation of the 1,000-year-old epic Saxon poem, mourners at Beowulf's funeral eulogize his glorious life by telling and reenacting their favorite stories of the great hero's adventures: of monsters and dragons, kingdoms and battles, and the passing of an age of valor, pride and revenge. Beowulf features original music for the lyre, harp and other period instruments.

Saturday, March 7 at 2:30 PM; Sunday, March 8 at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM
Beyond the 17th Parallel by T.D. Mitchell, directed by Robert Egan
At a remote cabin in the mountains of Washington, six Vietnam veterans reunite after 35 years for a weekend of hunting, fishing and poker, only to learn that they're still haunted by the memories and ghosts of an unforgiving war. Beyond the 17th Parallel, 2007 winner of Reverie's Next Generation Playwriting Contest, explores the divergent paths of brothers who once shared a battlefield but stand miles apart through the lens of current events.
