What the Constitution Means to Me, written by Heidi Schreck and directed by Chelsea Burke, is part of Firehouse Theatre's 2026–27 Mainstage season. The play breathes new life into the U.S. Constitution, exploring its meaning and imagining how it will shape the next generation of Americans. It is one of four productions in Firehouse Theatre's 33rd season, curated by Producing Artistic Director Nathaniel Shaw and incoming Artistic Director Katrinah Carol Lewis to reflect on the shared American experience as the nation marks 250 years.
