SEEKING A DR. FRANK N' FURTER (Non-Union/Non-Paid)

The Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College (One Seahawk Drive, North East, MD 21901) is seeking a dynamic performer for the role of Dr. Frank n’ Furter:

DR. FRANK N. FURTER: Male Identifying | Any Race/Ethnicity | 30s-50s | Range: Baritone D3-G4

A self-indulgent cross-dressing mad scientist/transvestite/master of the castle. He has impeccable comedic timing, an incredibly forward sense of sexuality, and an irresistible charisma.

Rehearsals begin the week of August 10th

Performance dates: October 16, 17, 23, 24 | Friday nights at 7pm, Saturday will feature two performances as well.

There is a one-day open call for this role:

Date & Time: Sunday, August 9th, from 4 – 6pm.

Location: The Milburn Stone Theatre

We are asking those interested to prepare three songs and read from the script

Songs to prepare: Sweet Transvestite, I’m Going Home, Charles Atlas Song
