Please bring a 16-32 bar cut of standard musical theatre. If interested in a specific role, choose a song from the show. No monologue is required for the audition, so tell a story through the song.

Sid Sorokin (Lead): Male,
baritone/tenor, strong singing role with some movement/dancing--the handsome new factory superintendent who falls in love with Babe, despite their being on opposite sides of the labor dispute central to the plot.

Catherine Babe Williams (Lead): Female
mezzo/belt, strong singing role with some movement/dancing--the leader of the Union Grievance Committee, who in turn falls in love with Sid.

Myron Old Man Hasler (Lead): Male
minor singing/dancing required, the strict head of the pajama factory who keeps a secret.

Gladys Hotchkiss (Lead): Female
mezzo, strong singing/dancing role, Hasler's attractive, quick-witted secretary, who dates Hines and is chased by Prez.

Vernon Hines (Lead): Male
baritone, sings and moves well, the factory timekeeper, who thinks Gladys flirts too much and, as a result is always jealous.

tenor, sings and moves well, the head of the union and a skirt chaser, despite being a married man.
