The Fall of the House of Usher by Gip Hoppe
Directed by James P. Byrne
Original Music by J Hagenbuckle
Summary:
Over the top drama, exaggerated emotions, high stakes, sensational situations–Gip’s wildly popular adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe short story was a huge hit in 1990. Gip passed away recently and his creative influence extended to many, many artists in Lower Cape theater. We have chosen to mount this production to honor Gip’s early work, and incredibly fertile creative energy.
Cape Rep Theatre is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating a diverse and inclusive creative home for both artists and audiences. As such, we encourage performers of all ethnicities, ages and abilities to submit. We welcome and encourage all to audition.
