South Bend Civic Theatre will hold auditions for the regional premiere of Treasure Island: A Musical Panto, book by Kathryn Peterson, music and lyrics by Michael Ogbom. Auditions will take place August 14-15, starting at 6:00 PM at the Scottish Rite building located at 427 N. Main St. South Bend (across the parking lot from SBCT.
This cast of mostly adult actors will create an audience experience of rollicking fun, broad physical comedy, lots of audience participation and introduce this high energy style of theater to delight our Michiana audiences both young and old.
• All performers must be willing to be very silly and get a pie in the face. It’s just that kind of show.
• All characters are singing, physical, high energy roles
• Adult Roles from age 20-60, 2-3 children’s roles age 8-teen.
• All Roles are open to all actors regardless of height, awith, eye/hair/skin/nose color or length.
• Cross gender casting possible and preferred
• The role of the Dame will be a man playing a woman
• 13+ Roles in the show.
• Come to the audition ready to sing something.
