Little Shop of Horrors - A Musical by Alan Menken & Howard Ashman - The Delray Beach Playhouse Non Equity Auditions

This popular cult musical tells the story of Seymour Krelborn, a dorky shop assistant who discovers a strange plant and nurtures it in the flower shop where he works. [It's only later that he learns that the plant eats people!] Seymour is in love with his co-worker (Audrey), who is dating a sadistic motor-cyclist dentist. Rounding out the cast are the lovable Mr. Mushnick, the show’s three female Narrators and an assortment of customers and tabloid reporters. The score by Alan Menkin (THE LITTLE MERMAID and ALADDIN) includes “Suddenly, Seymour,” You’ll Be a Dentist” and “Somewhere That’s Green.” [Note this show will require at least six volunteers dedicated to operating the man-eating plants...so if you're a puppeteer or technician, we need you!!!]
