INTO THE BREECHES! - Studio Theatre Worcester Non Equity Auditions

Studio Theatre Worcester is excited to announce auditions for Into the Breeches!, by George Brant. This production will be directed by John Somers.

It's 1942, and there's a problem at the Oberon Playhouse! With the director and leading men all off at war, it looks like the season will be cancelled. That is, until a determined group of ladies rallies the troops at home to mount an all-female Shakespearean production. The hilariously unexpected team comes together, united by their determination that the show must go on! This delightful and moving backstage comedy examines the power of art to bring us together, even in the hardest of times. Our unique take on this production is we will be setting the show in 1940s Worcester! The production will run December 8-11, 16-18.

Auditions will be Saturday, September 17 from 2-4pm, Sunday, September 18 from 4-6pm, and Monday, September 19 from 7-9:30. Auditions will consist of reading from sides, but a prepared monologue will be accepted as well. Casting 6 female-presenting and 2 male-presenting actors. All actors receive a stipend!
