Gorilla Tango Burlesque seeks to cast understudies for our open-run productions including 'A Nude Hope: A Star Wars Burlesque,' 'The Rack of Khan: A Star Trek Burlesque' and 'Holy Bouncing Boobies!: A Batman Burlesque'. Auditions will be dance-based with light cold readings, held on Sunday, August 3rd from 7:00-10:00pm, scheduled in groups in 1-hour slots. Audition Date: Sunday, August 3rd from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Auditions will be scheduled in one hour blocks.

Type/Restrictions: Women, 21 and over only please. Must be comfortable stripping down to pasties and panties. Women with comedy, improv, and/or dance backgrounds are especially encouraged to submit.
Time Commitment: Rehearsals will be 1-2 days per week through August and early September and are always scheduled based on actor availability. Understudy positions in ongoing shows perform Fridays or Saturdays at 9:00pm, 10:30pm, or 11:59pm depending on casting. Understudies will begin performing in late August or early September and are guaranteed at least one performance per month.

Audition will consist of a dance taught day-of followed by some light cold readings. Please Note: You will be required to strip down to a bra as part of your group dance audition though no formal burlesque training or experience is necessary in order to audition.
