Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) is set to present the local premiere of THE BIKINIS, a new musical beach party! Karen Hebert choreographs and directs an all-star local cast that includes MEREDITH LONG, AMY ALVAREZ, DANIELLE MATHIS and WENDY MIKLOVIC.

Loyola University's Montage Fine and Performing Arts Series kicks off its spring visual arts season in February with two contemporary printmaking exhibitions held simultaneously in the Collins C. Diboll Gallery. Featuring the premiere of theSouthern Graphics Council International's traveling exhibition and Dirk Hagner's "Texted Haiku Broadsides," both exhibits are in conjunction with the 2012 SGCI Conference.

The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at Loyola University New Orleans debuts the madcap comic play, "Anton in Show Business," a sharp, wry comedy based on three actresses who have been cast in an ill-fated production of Anton Chekhov's play, "The Three Sisters." The play will run in Loyola's Lower Depths Theater on Feb. 8, 9, 10, 11 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.

Roussel Performance Hall, located in the Communications/Music Complex, on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Calhoun Street.

After more than 20 years in residence at the Theatre on the 3rd Floor of Canal Place, Southern Rep announces that it will be finding a new home. Due to recent growth within Canal Place, the space will change hands next month, February 2012, and will no longer operate as a live performance venue.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Michael Wolff has confirmed new concerts in New Orleans and New York City, and both events will showcase and debut WOLFF & CLARK EXPEDITION, the new band he has formed with legendary drummer Mike Clark. The pair has played together for years, but it was Wolff's recent live album recording session at Vitello's in California that lead to the 'official' formation of their new group.

This hour of radio theatre, commissioned by Southern Rep and WWNO and recorded live at Southern Rep last December, consists of two radio plays by local writers Greg Herren (fiction writer of the Chanse MacLeod Mysteries and the Scotty Bradley Mystery Series) and Julie Smith (fiction writer of New Orleans Noir short stories).
