NOLA Art House Music, a next-generation collaborative of some of New Orleans' finest professional jazz musicians, NolaVie, New Orleans' cultural website, and Tableau, the French Quarter's newest glamorous eatery are joining forces to present Le Petit Noel, the first annual jazz tribute to the holiday season in the beautifully restored historicLe Petit Theatre, 616 St. Peter Street on Saturday, December 7 at 8 p.m. A post-concert reception for all ticket holders, courtesy of Tableau, will take place immediately following the performance.

The five-day fete honors the legendary Tennessee Williams, his works, and literary life in the adopted city he called his "spiritual home" and features two days of master classes; a roster of lively discussions among distinguished panelists; celebrity interviews; theater, food and music events; a scholars' conference; short fiction, poetry and one-act play competitions; a breakfast book club; French Quarter literary walking tours; a book fair; and special evening events and parties.

A free concert commemorating the 200th birthdays of Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner features the Loyola Symphony Orchestra and Loyola Chorus alongside special guests and Metropolitan Opera stars Alfred Walker '96, Greer Grimsley '76 and Luretta Bybee. The program will include selections from Verdi's "Otello," "Aida" and "La Traviata," as well as Wagner's "The Flying Dutchman" and "Die Walkure," including the famed "Ride of the Valkyries."

Students from Algiers Technology Academy, Martin Behrman Charter Academy for Creative Arts & Sciences, McDonogh #32 Literacy Charter School, William J. Fischer Accelerated Learning Academy, Dwight D. SoloMania offers New Orleans theater lovers a menu of solo performances, showcasing the diversity of perspectives and solo techniques currently enlivening New Orleans stages. The solo shows reflect a range of sensibilities, including performances for late-night, adult, and child audiences. SoloMania promotes experimentation and risk among writers, solo performers, and directors. It supports the development and presentation of new one-woman, one-man, one-person shows. SoloMania will present these performers in back-to-back solo shows in a variety of styles: including comedy, drama, puppetry, cabaret, monologue, storytelling, burlesque, and inter-media.

Elwood introduces Harvey to everyone he meets. His social-climbing sister, Veta, increasingly finds his eccentric behavior embarrassing. Antebellum was invited to premiere at the 2013 New Orleans Fringe Festival this November, as part of the curated Fringe-managed venue performance series.
