Streetwalker R. Stephanie Bruno To Appear This Wednesday at Coffee & Conversation

Join us for the third installment of humanities discussions. Presentations include author interviews, book signings, question-and-answer sessions, and complimentary coffee. Coffee and Conversation is produced by the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival and has been made possible by a grant from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Books by participating authors are made available by the "Friends of the Library Association" and are for sale during the programs.

Presentations are free and open to the public and held from 7:00-9:00 pm at:

You don't know NOLA until you've walked a mile in her shoes. Discover the architectural history and diverse texture of New Orleans neighborhoods as Times-Picayune columnist R. Stephanie Bruno talks us through the city streets, block by block. In her new book, New Orleans Streets: A Walker's Guide to Neighborhood Architecture, R. Stephanie Bruno compiles maps for walkers and photographs of houses, and provides historical background.

With many years of experience in New Orleans real estate, architecture, and arts, R. Stephanie Bruno writes her "StreetWalker" column as a contributor to New Orleans' Times-Picayune.

Moderator: John Lawrence, Director of Museum Programs at The Historic New Orleans Collection.
