In celebration of our new artistic residency, Southern Rep at Le Chat Noir presents a special event: Moonshine Madness - an evening of music and moonshine. Monday, June 14th at 7:30pm. Tickets: $45, $125 for VIP seating. www.SouthernRep.com.

With emcee Sean Patterson, the event will feature performances from Tony Award Winner Michael Cerveris (SWEENEY TODD, THE WHO'S TOMMY), Le Chat Noir Favorite Ricky Graham, and straight from our critically acclaimed production of GREY GARDENS, Leslie Castay. Rounding out this stellar line up are A.J. Allegra, Natalie Boyd, Bob Edes, Jr., Lisa Picone, Dorian Rush, Jamie Wax, and Trixie Minx from Fleur de Tease. From hilarious duets, to New Orleans soul, racy burlesque and Broadway standards, this one-night-only event has a musical moment for every patron's palette.

A fabulous selection of moonshine cocktails will be provided by Piedmont Distillers.

In addition to the spectacular live entertainment, there will be a live auction, with proceeds supporting a new education program, YO NOLA. Southern Rep and New Orleans Charter School KIPP: McDonogh 15, are joining forces to create an arts and life-skills building program for a diverse population of traditionally under-served youth. YO NOLA is a junior theatre company run via an after school program for a diverse population of urban youth, ages 8 to 12. Live auction items feature: A fabulous theatre and wine-country trip to California's Bay Area, a Los Angeles stay with a set visit to the hit television show Glee, and an amazing, handcrafted piece of jewelry from Symmetry Jewelers.
