The annual free Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival runs from noon to 10:00 PM on the Morristown Green, initiated in 2011 by Mayor Tim Dougherty. Performers include the James Langton New York All-Star Big Band featuring clarinetist Dan Levinson and vocalist Molly Ryan, the Richard Baratta Gotham City Latin/Jazz Septet with saxophonist Craig Handy and vocalist Carroll Scott, and LaBamba and the Hubcaps led by trombonist Richie 'LaBamba' Rosenberg with trumpeter Mark Pender. Blues Music Award winner Dylan Triplett performs at six, followed by a yet-to-be-announced Grammy Award-winning blues headliner. The festival honors its late founders Linda Smith and Michael Fabrizio.
