Molly Pitcher—Revolutionary Girl Power showcases the extraordinary stories of two American heroes at the SPQR Stage Company. Written and directed by Bill Sterritt, the one-act plays feature Ellen Cheney as the iconic Molly Pitcher, who defied traditional roles during the Battle of Monmouth, and Finnigan Keane as Richard Somers, a naval martyr from South Jersey known for his bravery during the First Barbary War. Each performance, set to run from August 5 to 7 at Studio;Space in Somers Point, brings to life themes of courage, democracy, and female empowerment.
