This winner of six TONY Awards is based on the aspirations and successes of R&B acts such as The Supremes, The Shirelles, James Brown, and Jackie Wilson. The story follows a young female singing trio from Chicago called "The Dreams" who become music superstars. This iconic musical, featuring music by Oscar nominee Henry Krieger and book and lyrics by Tony and Grammy-Award winner Tom Eyen, includes the unforgettable hits from stage and screen "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," "One Night Only," and "Listen."
