Free Trial Classes for Children with Special Needs at The Center For Life and Learning Nov 4th-Nov 9th
The Center for Life and Learning is opening their doors to all with free trial classes starting Monday, November 4th through Saturday, November 9th. Classes included Music Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga, and Rieki. Please call our office (201) 530-5594 to let us know which free class you'd like to have your child attend. Music Therapy - Where therapy meets fun. Small group (3-5 participants) instruction by licensed certified Music Therapist.
Therapeutic Yoga - An innovative gentle and safe therapeutic yoga class to promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Small group (3-5 participants) instruction by licensed and certified Occupational Therapist.
Rieki- Reiki can aid in minimizing insomnia, anxiety, stress, tension, behavioral challenges and depression. You remain fully clothed, and when working, the practitioner may use a light touch hands-on method, choose to hover their hands over the body or can be done from a distance.
About The Center for Life and Learning?(TCLL) is a unique, alternative or complementary option to care for individuals who are living with learning differences, emotional distress, and social difficulties. Born out of a mother's desire to meet the needs of her own child, TCLL is designed to bring ease into the lives of individuals and their families. TCLL's instructors, all certified and/or licensed in their respective areas of expertise, offer a holistic approach aimed to address each client's needs in a supportive and stimulating environment. TCLL offers an innovative approach to special needs care that is convenient (offering multiple services in one location), collaborative, caring, and community-oriented. Additionally, recognizing the importance of taking care of the entire family, TCLL offers an array of While You Wait services, among which are Reiki and Restorative Yoga to diminish stress and promote healing.
