This production consists of a one act play by Tony Kushner called But the Giraffe and a one act musical called Brundibar by Hans Krasa and Adolf Hoffmeister with new English libretto by Tony Kushner. Brundibar was originally performed by Jewish children in the Terezin Concentration Camp between 1943-45. The musical Brundibar is a fable about the meek rising above the powerful.
