The River Street Theatre (RST), a project of Jaffrey's Park Theatre, will be exclusively presenting the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) new production of Shakespeare's classic comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor on Sunday, October 7 and Columbus Day Holiday, Monday, October 8 (both at 2 PM). The presentation is part of the RST's Stage2Screen Series.

Last season's runaway hit Constellations is back for a one-weekend reprise to open New Hampshire Theatre Project's 30th anniversary season. Seacoast favorites CJ Lewis and Colleen A. Madden star in this witty comedy about the significance of falling in love within the vastness of our complex human existence. Nick Payne's brilliant script takes us on a journey through parallel universes and the multiple nuances of loving relationships. 'Madden and Lewis are mesmerizing,' said Edge reviewer Jeanne McCartin, 'no lover of theatre should miss Constellations.' New Hampshire Theatre Project celebrates its 30th anniversary and three decades of bringing transformational and educational theatre to the seacoast. 2018-2019 school year programs begin September 19 and include the all new West End Youth Players, NHTP Youth Repertory Company, Tech Troupe, and Coaching. NH Theatre Project programs emphasize the ensemble aspect as well as the process of theatre, and technique rather than 'spectacle.' There are no 'stars' and every team member is equally important to the collaboration.

The films are accompanied with interviews of the stars and the film creators. Film critic Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) is the host. The first 'sneak preview' the River Street Theatre will present is American Dresser starring Tom Berenger (Platoon, Someone To Watch Over Me, Gettysburg) Keith David (Crash, Barbershop, Armageddon), Gina Gershon, Penelope Ann Miller (The Artist), Jeff Fahey (Silverado)and Bruce Dern (Nebraska, Coming Home). It will be shown only once, Friday, September 21 at 7pm.

An American in Paris was first produced as a musical film by powerhouse studio MGM in 1951. It starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron. It won 6 Academy Awards including Best Picture. It remains one of the great Hollywood musicals of all time. Flash forward sixty-four years and it is adapted for the Broadway stage and wins 4 Tony Awards. It has a great love story and perfect score with memorable songs including "I Got Rhythm," "S'Wonderful," and "Tra La La."
