By:

Director and Choreographer, Elaine Gatchell, announces L. Frank Baum's classic masterpiece, The Wizard of Oz, will open October 26, and run its magic through November 11, at the beautiful new Leddy Center at Verdant Pastures in Epping.

The all star cast includes AJ Pratt of Epping as Scarecrow in search of a brain, Eric Savage as Tin Man in search of a heart, Bobby Collinge of Newfields as the Cowardly Lion, and Mike Coppinger of Newburyport, MA, as the great Oz. Janell Wyman of Newington is Glinda, and Kathy St. Germain of Fremont is the Wicked Witch of the West. Starring as Toto is the adorable Yorkie terrier, Tyrone Dinardo of Brentwood. Munchkins, Monkeys, Winkies, Jitterbugs, Crows, Trees, and Ozians make up the rest of the Yellow Brick Road cast with their dancing and singing of all the well-known music from this great musical. The most popular tune from this musical is Dorothy singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and, of course, "We're Off to See the Wizard".

Alison Wood of Raymond has created beautiful scenery in which this tale will unfold. Nathan Amsden is at the keyboard and Bruce Gatchell directs the music.
