THE BODINES By Jeffrey Kinghorn Comes to West End Studio Theatre
New Hampshire Theatre Project will collaborate with RMJD Productions to present The Bodines at West End Studio Theatre August 24 to September 9. This dark and wondrous new comedic drama features Deborah and Jeffrey Kinghorn as Wyatt and Emily Bodine who embark on another boring evening at home that quickly turns into "the day when everything changed." A text message. A neighbor's return from vacation. A homemade pie. It all seems so banal...until it becomes the meaning of life, a glimpse into the cosmos, and an awakening to a whole new world. The Bodines will tickle your funny bone and then leave you wondering...why the heck are we laughing?
Long-time Seacoast residents Jeffrey and Deborah Kinghorn have been working in theatre all their married lives as actors, directors, educators, and writers, having met in the Trinity University Graduate School of Theater, at the Dallas Theater Center. Deborah is a professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at UNH, and was mostly recently seen as Gertrude in Seven Stages Shakespeare's production of Hamlet and as Lear in their production of Lear. Jeffrey is a novelist, playwright and poet whose titles are all available via Amazon. If you were lucky enough to catch The Asperger Twins by Jeffrey Kinghorn at Players Ring last season, you will not want to miss The Bodines.
