Pontine Presents Forman Brown: NH's Forgotten Poet/Puppeteer Sunday June 24th at 2pm, Pontine presents Andrew Periale's Forman Brown: New Hampshire's Forgotten Poet/Puppeteer. Andrew Periale's program explores the work and life of poet & puppeteer, Forman Brown, a friend of poet Robert Frost, and the founder of The Turnabout Theater in Los Angeles. The Plains School is located at #1 Plains Avenue in Portsmouth NH. The space is fully accessible with adjacent parking.

Andrew and Bonnie Periale's Perry Alley Puppet Theatre has performed at national and regional festivals, at the Smithsonian Institution, the Center for Puppetry Arts (Atlanta), the Jim Henson International Festival of Puppetry and many other venues across the U.S. as well as in France and Italy.

Pontine Theatre, now celebrating its 40th Season, is a resident company at Strawbery Banke Museum. The company, in collaboration with the City of Portsmouth, recently renovated the Plains School as the community's newest cultural center.
