Milford Area Players, winner of the 2013, 2011, and 2009 New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Production in Drama/Comedy for Community Theatre, is proud to present Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts, 56 Mont Vernon Street, Milford, NH, October 12 - 21.

Hailed as the quintessential American play, this classic Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning drama of a man's desperate search for money and respect explodes with poignancy and relevance. Willy Loman desperately craves success for himself and his sons, but stark reality cannot live up to his dreams. The wall of delusions he has constructed quietly crumbles around him while a devastated and demoralized man searches in vain for a hidden path to greatness, losing the respect of his son BIff in the process. Death of a Salesman is a masterpiece that everyone should see performed live.

The cast of Death of a Salesman includes Vick Bennison of Amherst; Deirdre Bridge of Derry; James Haupt of Hudson; Katie Collins, Sierra Jones, Elliot Owens, and Anja Parish of Manchester; Neal Blaiklock, Jason Crowell, and Kevin Linkroum of Merrimack; Devereaux Merchant of Milford; Len Deming of Nashua; and Zachary Peacock of Weare. The play is directed by Vicky Sandin of Nashua.

Death of a Salesman will be staged by the Milford Area Players for two weekends, October 12-21, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+) and students. Advance tickets are available at Toadstool Bookshop and online at www.MilfordAreaPlayers.org.
