Lucie Therrien to Appear In Concert On Sunday 20 May At The Plains School Sunday May 20th at 2pm, Pontine presents Lucie Therrien in Concert at the Plains School. Lucie Therrien is a songwriter, author, poet, historian, recording artist, visual artist, linguist, film maker and certified teacher. She received a MA in Music History and a BA in Piano from the University of New Hampshire after her fine art studies in Montreal at l'Ecole des Beaux Arts. Therrien has performed on five continents. Among numerous awards she has received, the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts has honored her with four Traditional Master/Apprentice awards, as well as awards in songwriting, film, video, composing and arranging.

Pontine Theatre, now celebrating its 40th Season, is a resident company at Strawbery Banke Museum. The company, in collaboration with the City of Portsmouth, recently renovated the Plains School as the community's newest cultural center.
