Katy Tur Comes To The Music Hall With Her Memoir UNBELIEVABLE Image

On Sunday, April 8, NBC News correspondent Katy Tur will take the stage at The Music Hall as part of the Writers on a New England Stage series to talk about her New York Times bestseller, UNBELIEVABLE: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History. The book follows her year and a half living out of a suitcase and reporting on Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Tur documented Trump's inconsistencies, fact-checked his falsities, and called him out on his untruths. In return, Trump repeatedly singled Tur out, trying to charm her, intimidate her, and shame her.

At one point, he got a crowd so riled up against Tur that Secret Service agents had to walk her to her car. Tur was part of the first women-led politics team in the history of network news, and through all the long nights, wild scoops, naked chauvinism, dodgy staffers, and fevered debates, no one had a better view than she did. The 4pm event includes an author presentation followed by an onstage interview with Virginia Prescott, host of New Hampshire Public Radio's "Word of Mouth."

Katy Tur is a correspondent for NBC News and an anchor for MSNBC. She is also the recipient of a 2017 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. She lives in New York City.
