New Hampshire Theatre Project and Cornelius Productions, LLC present CRAZY WORLD, an original one woman musical inspired by the life of Julie Andrews, premiering at New Hampshire Theatre Project/West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH for three exclusive shows Friday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2:00pm.

Written by Thomas W. Gross, Crazy World stars Susan Scannell Gilbert (star of Dynasty and Search for Tomorrow) and is directed by John-Richard Thompson (2 Bistro Awards and 2 MAC Awards for Erik and the Snowmaidens and Indigo Rat), with musical direction by Bobby Peaco (9 MAC Awards, 6 Bistro Awards, star of Jerry Herman's Showtune) and choreography by Kevin LaChapelle.

Crazy World takes place in 1995. Julie Andrews is 60 years old and about to face her most challenging role in years - starring on Broadway in Victor/Victoria. Featuring songs Julie Andrews made famous throughout her illustrious career, Crazy World takes you backstage to imagine what it's like to create an altogether new 3rd act in life.

Susan Scannell Gilbert is best known for creating the role of Nicole Simpson on ABC-TV's Dynasty. A former Ford Model, she has starred in numerous television series, including The A Team, Search for Tomorrow, and CBN's Another Life. She performs regularly in musicals, including The Sound of Music, Hairspray, and Showboat at Reagle Theatre, Waltham, MA. She lives in Framingham, MA with her husband Bob Gilbert.

Thomas W. Gross is a writer and former newspaper columnist who has written articles for various publications including The New York Times. A former ER Doctor, Colonel in the Air National Guard, and Iraq War Veteran, this is his first play. He lives in Portsmouth, NH.

Director John-Richard Thompson and Musical Director Bobby Peaco have collaborated on two previous off Broadway musicals which have won 2 MAC and 2 Bistro Awards - Erik and the Snowmaidens, and Indigo Rat. John-Richard Thompson is the co-author, along with Anne Ford, of numerous books on learning disabilities, including Laughing Allegra. He lives in New York City. Musical Director Bobby Peaco is a composer, performer and accompanist who has accompanied Nancy Wilson, Jackie Hoffman and Barbara Cook among many others, and has performed at Joe's Pub and Don't Tell Mama in New York City, where he currently resides.

Suzanne Cornelius is the executive producer and principal of Cornelius Productions, LLC, a multi-platform Production Company based in North Hampton, NH. She is the former producer of Sesame Street (2 Emmy Awards for Best Pre-School Series) and Emeril Live for Food Network. Previously she produced the sold out engagement of Caruso-A One Man Opera at the Music Hall Loft in Portsmouth, NH. She was a Theatre Major at UNH, along with John-Richard Thompson, Bobby Peaco, Susan Scannell Gilbert and Kevin LaChapelle, where they met and have been friends ever since.
