A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Leddy Center

By:

Leddy Center is proud to announce that we will be collecting toys for the annual TOYS FOR TOTS campaign during all performances of "A Christmas Carol" from December 2 through December 11! Everyone who attends a performance of "A Christmas Carol" is urged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to TOYS FOR TOTS. All toys collected will be delivered to the Marines of Bravo Company 1/25 Toys for Tots program in Londonderry, NH so that children and teens in our greater community may have a joyful holiday season.

"Bah, humbug!" is the cry from Ebenezer Scrooge, as he ushers in the holiday season in "A Christmas Carol", at Leddy Center's beautiful theater on Ladd's Lane in Epping. Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" is a tradition at Leddy Center and promises to make everyone's Christmas a lot more meaningful for the watching. Heading up an all-star cast directed by Elaine Gatchell, Steve Koch returns as the unmatchable Scrooge at Leddy Center as does Dr. Henry Ferrell as the truly remorseful Ghost of Marley. Jane Button returns as Mrs. Crachit and Eric Savage is Bob Crachit. Nen Horan is Martha Crachit, Mark Deyo returns as Scrooge's nephew, Fred, and Kathy Anzalone returns as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Don LaDuke is the Ghost of Christmas Present, Nicol Hotaling debuts as Fred's wife, Mary, Kevin Murphy is Mr. Fezziwig and Carole Bilodeau is Mrs. Fezziwig. Parker Irving of Epping is Tiny Tim. Scenes will be ushered in by an acappella quartet and soloists. Musicians include Jane Button, Michael Denison, Bruce Gatchell, Richard Gouin, Danielle Stough and Erin Gillespie.

"A Christmas Carol" is sponsored by D. F. Richard Energy and 900o Neapolitan Pizzeria in Epping, and partially sponsored by NHPTV, THE SHARK at 102.1, 105.3FM and Seacoast Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays and one Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 2:00pm, December 2 through December 11. Tickets are $20 and can be ordered by visiting the box office on Ladd's Lane or by calling 603-679-2781, MTWF from 3:00pm-5:30pm, or by going online, 24/7, at www.leddycenter.org. Leddy Center is located on Ladd's Lane, off Route 27, in Epping, NH. Rt. 27 is accessible from Rts. 101 and 125 in Epping.

Leddy Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit New Hampshire arts and education organization.
