Vaste gastdirigent Jan Willem de Vriend waagt zich samen met Het Brabants Orkest na de Vijfde symfonie van Beethoven (vorig seizoen) nu aan Beethovens Vierde. De oude muziekkenner omlijst de symfonie met Mendelssohns fameuze Pianoconcert en Chopins eerste pianoconcert, terwijl Rossini’s dartele Ouverture la cenerentola een passende inleiding vormt.
