Broadway In Chicago has announced tickets for The RENT 25TH Anniversary Farewell Tour will go on sale on Wednesday, August 11. The RENT 25TH Anniversary Farewell Tour is the first production to open to a live audience in a Broadway In Chicago theatre in more than a year.
The cast will be led by Andrew Levitt aka Nina West (from “RuPaul's Drag Race”) as Edna Turnblad, Niki Metcalf as Tracy Turnblad and Toneisha Harris (from NBC's “The Voice”) as Motormouth Maybelle. Additional casting will be announced later.
Zions Bank Broadway at the Eccles has announced that Broadway will return to the Eccles Theater, 2 days earlier. Due to recent scheduling shifts, Disney’s Frozen will begin performances in downtown Salt Lake City on Tuesday, Oct. 26 to launch the beginning of the shows presented by Zions Bank Broadway at the Eccles.
