Sinning never looked this good. Following it's buzzworthy premiere at Kindling Arts Festival 2021, SEVEN is back for a special one-night only screening this February. The wholly original performance film project from acclaimed actress and interdisciplinary artist Jennifer Whitcomb-Oliva (The Darkness and Other Black Things) explores the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Heavenly Virtues in a whole new light. Directly confronting the intersection of Blackness and Fatness, Jennifer tackles these often marginalized topics through her personal experiences and opens conversations on mental health, sexual health, and spirituality that uniquely relate to Black women. The film project is directed by award-winning documentary filmmaker Valerie Whitcomb (The Blueberry Farmer) and features additional choreography by Marcus Hayes (Austin Peays Associate Dean for the College of Arts & Letters / Professor of Dance & African-American Studies).
