American Mosaic is a free Labor Day concert presented by the Nashville Symphony in partnership with Nashville Downtown Partnership, Metro Parks, and the Gary Sinise Foundation. The centerpiece is a bold new composition by composer Peter Boyer and photographer Joe Sohm, weaving orchestral music, live narration, and 4K video from all 50 states into a journey through America's diverse sonic and scenic identity. Music Director Leonard Slatkin leads the orchestra, with actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise serving as narrator. The program also includes Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man and John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever.
