Tickets for Nashville Repertory Theatre's production of The Whipping Man go on sale to the public on Tuesday, October 7 at 10:00 am. The production, which stars Heisman Trophy-winner and former Tennessee Titan Eddie George, runs from February 7 - 21, 2015 (preview performances: February 5 - 6).

The play is set in the post-Civil War South, where three men are tied to each other by history and faith, but are also bound by secrets. A badly wounded Jewish Confederate soldier stumbles home at war's end to find his family has fled to the countryside. Remaining behind to greet him are two of his family's former slaves... and a cobbled together Passover Seder. The three men unite to celebrate the holiday, even as they struggle to comprehend their new relationships at a crossroads of personal and national history.

Tickets: Starting at $45 (starting at $12 for students with valid ID, some restrictions apply). Tickets for preview performances are $25. Tickets are on sale beginning Tuesday, October 7 at the TPAC Box Office (at 505 Deaderick Street, Downtown Nashville). Tickets are available by phone or internet order at the following: (615) 782-4040 or www.tennesseerep.org
