The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company to Present MARY POPPINS
The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company presents MARY POPPINS! This musical is based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film. The Broadway Musical won seven Tony's including Best Musical.
MARY POPPINS will be presented at the Hendersonville Performing Arts Company May 26th through June 12th with shows on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00.
Join us as Bert, the jack-of-all trades, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before MARY POPPINS arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. MARY POPPINS takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
MARY POPPINS is an enchanted mixture of irresistible story and unforgettable songs, featuring Crystal Kurek as Mary, Steven Sorrell as Bert and McAley Lannom and Lane Williamson as Jane and Michael Banks with Aubry Iwen and Darren Martel as Winifred and George Banks and a delightful cast of many others.
