Macabaret is an irreverent, racy evening of gallows humor, song, and dance. This cabaret-style show takes an outrageous look at the morbid and the macabre. The show comes to Nashville after successful runs in New York, Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more. Join your host, Phil Graves, and his cadaverous cohorts as they perform songs such as "Marriage is Murder," "Grave Mistake," and "Dead End Job" that deal with love gone bad, obsessions, and strange things that go bump in the night.

If you're in the mood for a "slightly warped, slightly psychotic and extremely macabre evening of cabaret-style entertainment," come enjoy a night of ghoulish fun with "deliciously dark songs guaranteed to tickle your funny bone." The final Friday & Saturday evening performances are special Halloween shows, and the audience is encouraged to come dressed in costume, with prizes for Best and Most Original costumes!

So leave the kids at home carving pumpkins and come to Macabaret for some "fiendishly good entertainment" for the grown-ups. Macabaret features some of Nashville's most talented performers: Erica Cantrell, Janna Landry, Tyson Laemmel, Megan Murphy, and Scott Rice. Directed and choreographed by Pam Atha with musical direction by Rollie Mains.

Performances are at Street Theatre, 1933 Elm Hill Pike, just off the Briley Parkway. At just $16 and $14, the ticket prices are quite the bargain and are available at www.streettheatrecompany.org. Call 615-554-7414 for more information.
