Beethoven Sonata for Piano No. 30 in E major, Op. 109
“Unlike most virtuosos, Haefliger is a musician first and a pianist second,” wrote the Chicago Tribune. In recent years Haefliger has devoted himself to the complete cycle of Beethoven sonatas, which he juxtaposes with other major works of the repertoire. The major work featured in this recital is Schumann’s Fantasy.
