Shadowbox Productions Announces BLACKBIRD for 4/11-22
Shadowbox Productions, a new company dedicated to producing high quality theatre that challenges the mind and entertains, has announced their inaugural play will be BLACKBIRD, Written by David Harrower and Directed by Mikaela Davies. The show will run April 11 to 22 at Les Ateliers Jean-Brillant, 3550 Saint-Jacques Ouest (Metro Lionel Groulx).
Two people who once had a passionate affair meet again fifteen years later. Ray is confronted with his past when Una arrives unannounced at his office. Guilt, rage and raw emotions run high as they recollect their relationship when she was twelve and he was forty. Without any moral judgments, the play never shies away from the brutal shattering truth of their
abandoned and unconventional love.
The show will star Jock MacDonald, Isabel Farias and Charley Hausknost.
