In The Mood For Jazz is an irreverent and satirical take on Hollywood's Golden Age. Black and White comes to life in this absurd spectacle of music and celebrity. Come see Dick Powell return to the stage after a twenty two year hiatus. For one night only he'll set the record straight, sing some songs and reunite with his ex-wife, the incomparable Laura Thornton. Featuring:

Dick Powell (The Name Under The Marquee), Laura Thornton (The Star of The Show), Buck Wheaton (Drums and Band leader), Paco Bertolucci (Guitar and Emotional Support), Sandy Beaches (Double Bass and Hirsute Bohemoth), Shorty Benton (Jazz Pianist and Youthful Prodigy) and Buster Nelligan (Alto Saxophone and Flute) In The Mood For Jazz was written and created by PatRick Costello and Graham Cuthbertson with the help of Angela Galuppo and The Buck Wheaton Trio.

This show was first performed at an offsite during the Montreal Jazz Festival, then held over at The Centaur Theatre's Wildside festival and was featured in a ten performance run at the Zoofest comedy and performance festival. The show is an ever changing, often surprising, tour-de-farce. The musicians are all world class performers who can be seen performing in Montreal and across Canada and the world. In 2010 Angela Galuppo received her B.F.A with Great Distinction, Specialization in Jazz Studies, from Concordia University and was the recipient of the 2007 Dr. Oscar Peterson Jazz Scholarship for performance. Her latest project, St. Ange, and her debut album Second Nature on which she takes her shiny new self-producing/lyricist/composer tricycle out for a ride is available now on iTunes. PatRick Costello and Graham Cuthbertson are both founding members of Montreal's SideMart Theatrical grocery and have been seen on stages and television screens in many English speaking countries.
