Celebrate the music and lyrics of Broadway's Stephen Schwartz, composer of beloved hits like Godspell, Pippin, and Wicked with this evening of his songs in an intimate cabaret setting. Performing a mix of audience favourites and lesser-known gems, Noelle Hannibal, Marc Ducusin, Tina Mancini and special guest, Jeremy Carver-James, take to the Studio stage with Musical Director Ian Baird on piano.

Co-producer/performer Noelle Hannibal was born and raised in Los Angeles, but resides in Montreal. With an extensive background in theatre and film, Hannibal's Los Angeles theatre credits include Hair, Gypsy, Chicago and Miss Saigon. Montreal credits include Merton of the Movies, Rent: In Concert, Gefilte Fish Chronicles: The Musical, South Park and the world premiere of The Virgin Courtesan. Film and television credits include Star Trek: Voyager, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cracker: Mind Over Murder and Ellen. In the sci-fi world, Hannibal has the unique distinction of portraying the first female Vulcan on Earth is Star Trek: First Contact.

The music of Stephen Schwartz has always been a passion for Hannibal. After appearing as a guest on the new Broadway Cast recording of Pippin and a brief email communication wtih Schwartz, the idea sprang to life and Corner of the Sky: The Music of Stephen Schwartz was born.

Co-producer/performer Marc Ducusin most recently played the role of Enjolras in a concert of The Music of LES MISERABLES for Productions Coracole. His other past credits include Benny in Barefoot Broadway's Highlights from Rent in Concert, Kipps in The Woman in Black for Loewenport Productions, and the musical comedies Cabaret and Into the Woods for Music Theatre Montreal.

Joining Hannibal and Ducusin are Tina Mancini, who recently appeared in Merton of the Movies: The Musical and special guest, Jeremy Carver-James. Carver-James is in his third season at the renowned Shaw Festival, but is thrilled to come back to Montreal where he studied Voice Performance at McGill's Schulich School of Music. Select Shaw credits include Cabaret, The Light in the Piazza, Guys and Dolls and Ragtime. Select Montreal credits include 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee, title of show, The Drowsy Chaperone, Hair and Porgy and Bess for Opéra de Montréal. Carver-James will be returning to the Shaw Festival for the 2015 season in Sweet Charity, Pygmalion and The Whisky Bar. This November, he can be seen in Forte Theatre, Calgary's production of Naughty But Nice.
