Broadway's Louise Pitre to Bring Solo Show to Oshawa's Regent Theatre

Louise Pitre, best known for receiving a Tony nomination for her role of Donna in Mamma Mia! on Broadway, will come to Oshawa, according to DurhamRegion.com.
Pitre's show "From Paris to Broadway" will "take audiences on a journey through song featuring classic French songs to favourite Broadway tunes," according to the Regent Theatre's website.
The show will play Oshawa's Regent Theatre on June 13th at 8pm.
Among the songs performed will be "Ne Me Quitte Pas," "100 Easy Ways to Lose a Man," "La Vie En Rose," "An Affair to Remember," and Pitre's own "Le Ciel Est Bleu," among others.
Tickets are $39, available at regenttheatre.ca or at the box office at 50 King St. E.
The concert is recommended for viewers aged 12 and over.

Louise Pitre is a Canadian actress in musical theatre. She performs on Broadway and in Canada. She is best known for her role as Donna Sheridan in the ABBA-themed musical Mamma Mia!, which earned her a 2002 Tony Award nomination.
Other musicals she was involved with include Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, The World Goes 'Round, Blood Brothers, Tartuffe, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd, Applause, and Rock 'n' Roll. She was nominated for three Dora Mavor Moore Awards for her various projects in Canada.
