Set in the mid 1970s, Bad Habits is about two competing therapy-based facilities that treat people for their bad habits. In Act I, nurses Benson and Hedges oversee a medical facility in which the suppression of every possible pleasure is the prescription. Act II takes us to a marital retreat that conversely encourages patients to indulge their every whim as a form of therapy.
Acting and directing for Bad Habits are local thespians Teresa Waldorf and Rosie Ayers. This darkly funny comedy is being double-cast to allow actors to play a different character in each act. Also starring in Bad Habits are locally famous actors Howard Kingston, Salina Chatlain, and Paul Renaldo.
