Trent Romens Set for Northrop's Music on the Plaza Today
Northrop at the University of Minnesota presents Music on the Plaza, a free outdoor concert series featuring talented musicians. Curated by the Northrop Student Advisory Committee, Northrop, and Sue McLean and Associates, the series presents a sampling of musical genres including R&B, hip-hop, funk, bluegrass, pop, rock, and indie.
Concerts are held on selected afternoons and evenings in September and October. Free food, beverages, and prize drawings will be featured throughout the series from various local vendors.

White Iron Band
This bluegrass/jam band is seven members strong. These musicians combine to create a unique mix of blues, country, and Americana roots music.

With opener Taj Raj
In a special concert for U of M students, Midwest-inspired indie folk rock band, Taj Raj, opens for U of M graduate and Doomtree veteran, Dessa, one of hip-hop's most diverse and talented artists.
