Tickets Now on Sale for Minnetonka Theatre's OLIVER!
Tickets are now on sale for Oliver!, the Charles Dickens class with a holiday 'Twist', presented this fall by Minnetonka Theatre. Running on the Arts Center on 7 Main Stage from December 7-15, this beloved family friendly classic will follow up the previous sold out holiday productions of Annie and The Sound of Music.
"Oliver! encourages us to open our eyes and see the good in every unlikely place," explains director KIra Hawkins. "It is my hope that our audiences will leave with a renewed spirit during the often too busy and stressful holiday season. I am so excited to work with this talented cast! We're lucky to have well-loved Minneapolis actor Martin Ruben as Fagin, and Minnetonka favorite Kendall Anne Thompson as Nancy. The cast is filled with many more Minnetonka favorites, as well as quite a few exciting newcomers, and incredibly talented local children. Don't miss it!"

About Oliver! After running away from the orphanage run by the heartless Mr. Bumble, Oliver meets the Artful Dodger and is recruited to pick pockets for Fagin. There, Oliver finds a friend in Nancy, but neither she nor the boy is fit for a life of crime in this 1963 Tony Award winner for Best Original Score. The 1968 motion picture won 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, making this one glorious show for the holidays!
