Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) continues its 66th season with Rhinoceros, in weekend performances from January 5 - 28, 2018.

It's a typical morning in a small American town - until a rhinoceros charges down the street. No one is really alarmed, but Berenger soon discovers everyone around him is turning into a rhinoceros - his friends, his co-workers, the townspeople. He's desperate to save them but no one will listen...and he must question what it is to remain human in the face of the trampling herd. Provocative, funny, and frightening, Ionesco's most renowned work has become a classic parable of social conformity - and human nature.

George M. Roesler directs the 11-member cast, with sets designed by Dietrich Poppen, costumes by Bobbi Iverson-Roesler, lighting by Mark Kieffer, and masks by Kimber Lawler.

An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, January 21.
