THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY to Open at the Old Log Theatre

By:

This new comedy makes its Regional Premiere at the Old Log Theatre with a preview performance on Friday March 3, 2017 and Opening night on Saturday March 4, 2017

Authors of "Dixie Swim Club" and "Golden Girls" episodes, Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten bring this delightful comedy of four unique single Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, together by Fate - and an impromptu happy hour - and decide it's high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years. Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle -aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment, and most importantly, realize it's never too late to make new old friends.

The Savannah Sipping Society is directed by R. Kent Knutson, and features performers: Bonnie Allen, Colleen Barrett, Mary Gant Gantenbein, and Teri Parker-Brown.

The Savannah Sipping Society begins performances on Friday March 3, 2017 and runs through Saturday, May 20, 2017 with performances Wednesday 130p, Thursday - Saturday 730p and Sunday 2p.
