Memphis And The Meantimes Comes to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres October 24-25

Twin Cities' singer-songwriter and multiple Minnesota Music Award winner Mick Sterling, leads an all-star local lineup with MEMPHIS AND THE MEANTIMES, in a musical salute to songs of the Grand Old Opry and Sun Records. Sterling leads MEMPHIS AND THE MEANTIMES through the songs proven to be the pillars of popular music as part of Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' 2013 Concert Series for two evening performances on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25th.

The group performs songs by Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Loretta Lynn, The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and will also include traditional country gospel by artists such as The Carter Family.

MEMPHIS AND THE MEANTIMES features the vocals of Sterling, as well as Shalo Lee, Cate Fierro, and Geoff Elvee. The band features members of The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra featuring Elisa Wright and Dan Neale. Also complimenting the lineup is Twin Cities' all-purpose guitarist Dan Gaarder and drummer Ben Kaplan, as well as Musical Director for the Brave New Workshop and lifelong writing partner of Sterling, Peter Guertin.

Tickets for MICK STERLING and MEMPHIS AND THE MEANTIMES are $32 per person. Performance time is 8pm. Bar offerings available at additional cost in the theatre, in Brindisi's Pub or in the Hogarth Lounge. A dinner option is also available at additional cost.
