A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol Opens Today at Hennepin Theatre

With 17 original songs including "Gunner Fell Into an Ice Hole" and "The Wheel is Turnin' but the Hamster is Dead," A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol returns to Minneapolis by popular demand after selling out every show the last four Decembers. On Christmas Eve in Bunyan Bay, Minnesota, Sven Yorgensen takes cantankerous bar owner Gunner Johnson on a journey similar to that in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," only very different.
The performance schedule for A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol is as follows:
November 25-January 1Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Additional shows on Tuesday, Dec. 20 and Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m.
No shows on Saturday, Dec. 24 or Sunday, Dec. 25
