"First Comes the Night" was recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), Paul Worley (Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum) and longtime collaborator Mark Needham. "First Comes the Night" is the follow up to Isaak's 2011 "Beyond The Sun," a breathtaking tribute album to Sun Records, Sam Phillips and the visionary artists who continue to inspire him and helped shape the early sounds of rock and roll.

Standout Isaak hits include the iconic "Wicked Game," "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing" and "Somebody's Crying." He has appeared on many TV shows and several films, starred in Showtime's "The Chris Isaak Show" and "The Chris Isaak Hour" on the Biography Channel. A recent judge on the "X-Factor" in Australia, Isaak performed at the opening of the Super Bowl festivities in San Francisco and was recently profiled on CBS Sunday Morning.
