The Marcus Center Presents a Free Christmas In July Celebration

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a free Christmas in July Celebration at the Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion and grounds this Friday, July 27 starting at 5:00 pm, which is sponsored in part by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The night will include awesome local vendors and community partners such as Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, SueMo Dance Company, Milwaukee Public Library and many more. Families can also purchase food and beverage through Sazama's Fine Catering and the evening will conclude with a movie screening of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas at 7:00 pm. This presentation is part of the Marcus Center's Peck Flicks series sponsored by the Molitor Foundation.

In conjunction with this event, the Marcus Center will be kicking off a fundraiser in support of Milwaukee arts education running through November 20. Incentives include a Grinch t-shirt and unique opportunities with the Broadway performance of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, which comes to the Marcus Center on November 20-25. The top fundraiser will get an opportunity to be on stage in Uihlein Hall to start one performance by reading pages from Dr. Seuss' classic book that inspired the musical. A code will also be given to all attendees at the Christmas in July event to purchase tickets for the Broadway production at a discount. More details on fundraising packages to support our Outreach Programming is available at give.marcuscenter.org/grinch.
