Gather round we've got a story to tell! Skylight Music Theatre presents the final Studio Theatre show of the season, Sing Me a Story, running tonight, May 3 through May 19. Featuring Kay Stiefel and Jack Forbes Wilson, Milwaukee's favorite cabaret couple performs together in the Studio Theatre for the first time at the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee, WI).

Each performing for the second time this season, Jack (Piano-Esta Noche Cantamos) and Kay (Elsa-The Sound of Music) will be portraying a large cast of characters in this sweetly comic show. Once upon a time, many years ago...well, twenty-five years ago, a girl and a boy met and fell in love with singing...with each other. Kay and Jack, along with the help of Broadway greats such as Lerner & Lowe, Rodgers & Hart and Kander & Ebb, will entertain you with an evening of musical adventures, allegories, anecdotes, and more than a few "happily ever-afters".

Known for their roles and cabarets throughout Milwaukee, Kay and Jack have a long history together at Skylight. They were among the first to perform a cabaret in the Skylight Bar & Bistro when the building first opened in 1993. Now back with Sing Me a Story, Kay and Jack plan to perform both familiar cabaret tunes, as well as a handful of new music including the show-titled song Sing Me a Story written by Jack himself.

"What I think is most unique about Jack and Kay is their subtle way of getting to the core of each song they sing and making it their own. You may have heard the tune before, but never as completely or as personally," says Skylight Artistic Director, Bill Theisen. "Each number becomes a mini one-act play; and the combination of dedication to the material and their impeccable musicianship makes Sing Me a Story a one of a kind theatrical experience."
